Since September 2013, I have been dean of the School of Human Kinetics and Recreation here at Memorial. I also hold the rank of professor.
My research involves studying the role of sensory inputs such as touch and vision in the performance of skilled hand movements.
I also apply current motor control and learning theory to studying the acquisition of technical clinical skills in medicine and other health professions, and in challenging environments such as zero gravity.
I'm looking forward to taking research at the school to new levels; increasing our research funding while strengthening our connections to our partners and to the community.
